i like the markers because a weakness of mine is that i get way too focused on making things "perfect" and end up overworking things, ESPECIALLY the colors. the markers give me a sort of "excuse" to be a bit messier. just a sort of... controlled messier.

Absolutely the best feature of brushes that imitate analogue media, that shine of digital perfection is removed from the equation and you no longer have 16 million RGB colours to choose from. The choice has been made for you and creativity thrives in limitations
